Shari MacFarlane’s

paintings have a strong abstract and expressionist appearance but hold a style all their own. Her use of vibrant layers of color, sometimes adding collage papers, charcoal, and oil pastel lines to a water media base, creates lush textural surfaces. Painting intuitively, she explores the relationship between her Spirit and the evolving art.
